Dave Myers admitted filming with best friend Si King was a 'dream come true' in his emotional final TV appearance, which airs tonight.

The TV chef, 66, passed away last month, two years after he revealed he was undergoing treatment for an unspecified type of cancer.

Viewers will see his final onscreen appearance on Tuesday night as the BBC airs the concluding episode of The Hairy Bikers Go West.

The last scenes of Dave and Si together will see them wrap up their incredible journey as they open up about how much the tour meant to them, telling each other they love one another and embracing through tears.

Dave was receiving chemotherapy throughout filming for the 650 mile road trip down the West coast, and as the trip drew to a close in Devon and Dorset, he poignantly remarked: 'Who knows what the future holds but for the moment, I'm living in the present, and it's pretty fine.'
